Google may remove the “I’m Feeling Lucky” button!

Ana sayfa / News

Google wants to adapt the “I’m Feeling Lucky” button, which has been one of the search engine’s icons for many years, to the age of artificial intelligence. Recent leaks indicate that this button will be replaced by a new artificial intelligence-supported system called “AI Mode.”

According to the shared images, different placement and design variations of the AI Mode button are being tested. While some users report that this button is placed just below the classic search bar, in some tests it is seen to be positioned next to features such as “search by image.”

There are also differences in terms of design. In addition to versions that reveal a rainbow-colored rotating frame when hovering over the button, designs that offer this animation by default are also being tested.

Google’s tests for this new AI Mode feature are currently only being conducted with a limited group of users in the United States. Google spokesperson Ashley Thompson said the experiments were conducted as part of the Google Labs program.

Thompson did not share any definitive information about whether the “I’m Feeling Lucky” button would be officially removed. However, the existence of these tests shows that Google is seriously considering this change.

As the integration of artificial intelligence into the search engine experience accelerates, Google management may also make other changes to the user interface. So what do you think about this? Do you think this latest move by the company is the right one? You can easily share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
